I made my way back to one of my favourite haunts, where the woodland oaks twist and creep through the mist like something alive. The silence was unreal — just the occasional drip of water from the branches and the crunch of damp leaves underfoot.
Using the fog to my advantage, I framed those familiar trees in a completely new way — their silhouettes haunting, their forms exaggerated by the dense air. It’s mornings like this that remind me why I love photographing this place — it never looks the same twice.
